3D TV - Has anybody seen what's it's like?

Postby internet junky » Mon Jul 05, 2010 12:54 pm

Hello, I've been reading up a little bit about 3D-TV, this one looks pretty spanky: 'LG 47LX6900 - 47" LED 3DTV' (must say I think it'll be awsome once the technology matures). Anyway: 3D-TV - has anybody experienced it first hand or does anybody here have a 3D-TV - IS IT ANY GOOD? and WHICH IS THE ONE TO GO FOR?

Personally I haven't watched anything on these 3DTV's yet. Although I'll be honest I'm not all that excited about them, I've read a few reviews regarding 3DTV and most of them talk about lack of quality etc - see this article about 3DTV on the BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/10446419.stm and I think you'll agree that 3DTV isn't all it's been hyped as by some companies... summary 'undecided' :?
when reading the post above, take into consideration that I am a n00b . . . apparently

I was lucky enough to view many different 3D tv's and technologies.I like Most of them looked pretty good. Some required some very expensive glasses , and a few did not. There was one technology that converted existing programs to 3D.
